Last month, Malka and Palma provided an online session on “How to Build Trust Across Difference in Your Community” to several dozen members of Welcoming America. Welcoming America, a long-time partner of Civity, is a nonprofit network of communities that grow prosperity through inclusivity – by ensuring that everyone belongs, including immigrants.
In addition to being introduced to Civity’s story-based and relational approach, the participants had the opportunity to experience intentionally moving “from head to heart.” Members from around the country were paired up virtually to share their stories in breakout one-on-one conversations.
